Dreams.
I think dreams are foreshadowings of the future, or at least what we imagine will happen in the future, positive or negative. Whether you’re dreaming about a seemingly random person or the monsters hiding under your bed or that freakish teacher chasing you, everything in your dreams represents something. That person? You’ve probably seen them before, once or maybe even many times, and have wondered what their story is. Those monsters? They’re probably the physical representation of your deepest fears, and your brain is telling you to get over them, because they seem to follow you everywhere you go. That teacher? Yeah, that one’s pretty obvious. You’re scared of her, just like everyone else, but you’re probably worried about her, too, you know, pondering how the hell she got so mean, or trying to figure out why she seems to want to torture you. And sometimes, she’s chasing you right to the answers. Everybody’s had that dream where that scary person is chasing you, and you end up falling off of a building or waking up right as he or she is about to catch you. The answers you want? They’re none of your business. I think that’s why you can never seem to discover them. I’m no scientist, psychologist, or a dream analyst, but I think it’s a pretty valid conclusion.
